Although there's no statutory requirement for schools to provide enrichment opportunities, at Lanercost C of E Primary School, we understand that enrichment helps to provide our children with a rounded, culturally rich education that promotes enhanced learning. Our enrichment gives children the opportunity to try new and varied activities that develop their character, resilience and motivation and encourage them to pursue wider goals. It helps the children to learn life skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom and to develop a breadth, depth and love for specific curriculum areas.
