At Lanercost C of E Primary School, we believe that Mathematics is a vital means by which children are introduced to concepts, skills and knowledge that is essential for everyday life. We aim for all our children to develop a love of the subject, an ability to connect areas of learning and solve problems. We believe that if they tackle this with enjoyment, curiosity and tenacity then they can achieve in Mathematics.
