This autumn our creative topic is 'How to Look After Our Environment.' We will be learning about climate change and sustainability and thinking about what we can do to help. We have a number of different visitors organised, including Rory Stewart and hopefully Professor Terry Callaghan (Nobel Peace Prize winner) for his ecological work on the Arctic to help us explore this subject. Our topic will finish with a special ‘sustainability’ themed Christmas Fayre.
We will be looking at the value of Wisdom this term through our Collective Worship and in RE Year 4 will be thinking about the question 'What do Christians and Muslims understand about the need for thankfulness in their lives?' Year 3 will be looking at the question ‘What can we learn from religious stories?’ PE will be on a Thursday afternoon with Fraser and Friday afternoon with Carlisle United (until half term). In science this term we will be finding out all about seed dispersal and then moving on to looking at states of matter and thinking about planning and carrying out their own investigations.
